Uni busy, very busy. About Me People say I'm: difficult, stubborn, sometimes funny, mostly grumpy. Describe Yourself: I'm generally easy going, although most people would disagree. I like funny, intelligent conversation. I like a challenging debate. I enjoy technology. I love my work. My life right now is very unbalanced. I work, I go home watch TV. Go to gym and NIA. I try to go to tai chi - but that all depends on what time I get to work so I can leave in time and fight traffic. On Gather, I'm Looking For ...: like minded people to discuss matters of common interest or just to natter. I'm looking for a community of people where it's not just about how many friends you have. Interests Lately I've been listening to: Mazzy Star I'm currently reading: Johnathan Kellerman - Cold Case The last movie I watched was: Parlotones - The Movie (A south african band) My must-see show is: There's nothing that I'd say is unmissable. I'd love to visit: Alaska or somewhere up North to see the Northern Lights. I'm curious about: why do bugs always die on their backs? Topping my Wish List is: A MacBook :-) I'm materialistic Favorite Music, Artists, Genres: My music preferences are rather diverse. I listen to Andrea Bocelli and to Rammstein. I guess my favourite genre tends towards alternative. All time favorites:, U2, REM, Live, Depeche Mode, Alanis Morrisette, Rammstein, Sisters of Mercy. Favorite Books, Writers, Genres: My favourite genre is Horror. Years ago I picked up a Stephen King and I've read everything he's ever published. My favourite Fantasy series, Dragonlance Chronicles. I enjoy the odd light read - "chick" reads. I'm not a big fan of non-fiction. I don't read autobiographies and the like. The only non-fiction I might read is computer stuff. Favorite Movies, Actors, Genres: My all time favourite movie is The Mission. I don't have a favourite genre, though I hate slap stick comedy (with exception to spoofs - they're funny) and I'm not a big western or musical fan. Favorite TV Shows, Actors: I have to admit I do like some reality shows - like Amazing Race and Survivor. I love Scrubs, House. Favorite Places: My house. Travel locations, I've been to Thailand once, loved it. I think that's my favourite place I've been. I like Stamford in the UK as well. Interests and Activities: I stumbled on Tai Chi a number of years ago. Growing up it was something I thought I'd do when I got old. Being Chinese maybe it's in my blood. I tried it and I loved it. Unfortunately right now I'm not training as much as I'd like to. The guy I was training with emigrated and I haven't found a class close by that's convenient and feels right. Wish List: World peace?
